Betty Hollan
Executive Director
Betty Hollan brings more than 30 years of leadership and management to her role as Executive Director of Georgia Women of Achievement. Her personal commitment to volunteerism, mentorship and women's leadership makes Betty uniquely prepared to guide an organization whose core objective is recognizing women who have made significant contributions and inspired future generations.

Betty came to GWA with previous experience in global, fast-paced corporate environments, start-up organizations, and the nonprofit community. She served as the global leader of Delta Air Line's private airport lounges and President of Crown Room Clubs, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta. Betty was also a founding principal of Thurman-Hathaway-Hollan, a strategic business consulting firm, and Such Like Studio, an art brokerage and representation firm. Betty has served on the boards of both national and regional nonprofits and regularly participates in community leadership and mentor programs.

At her core, Betty is a connector of people and a relationship leader. She has utilized this talent to mentor young women and to succesfully engage in both social and business endeavors. A travel addict, Betty has traveled to more than 50 countries, immersing herself in the unique cultures of each place and connecting to people around the globe.

Betty graduated with honors from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She currently lives with her husband in Atlanta, Georgia.
